On a Wednesday afternoon (it is the only possible time to go for it) I went to the Tanari Parking where Comune di Bologna offers a service of bike security marking with SecureMark® system for (only) 5 Euros. This is in order to allow the identification of who's the bike owner and supposedly it would discourage bike robbery.
The story...the man in charge did not show great experience, I let him do the marking on the upper part of my bike top tube but the operation did not come out very well. So he repeated the operation in a little displaced section of the frame and the second attempt came out to be readable (see pic).
Now I am better protected ....just asking myself why a search of www.securmark.com produce no results on the web?
Un mercoledì pomeriggio (il solo momento possibile) sono andato al Parcheggio Tanari dove il Comune di Bologna "offre" un servizio di marchiatura biciclette con il sistema SecureMark® pagando 5 Euro. Questo consente l'identificazione del proprietario della bici e dovrebbe scoraggiare i furti di bici. Com'è andata...il signore incaricato non sembrava molto pratico, l'ho lasciato incidere la parte alta del tubo del cannone ma non gli è venuto molto bene, e l'ha quindi rifatto un po' più in là, il secondo tentativo è risultato più leggibile (vedi foto). Ora sono più protetto...solo sono curioso di sapere perchè www.securmark.com non esiste?
